Join ArtsVision Performing and Visual Arts as we present The Wiz, Jr. an exciting youthful version of the popular Broadway musical The Wiz. This precious Broadway gem infuses L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz with a dazzling mix of rock, gospel and soul music. William F. Brown and Charles Smalls adapted the story and created the music into a soulful masterpiece. The Junior version tells a story that is both beautiful and family friendly. This cast of Dallas area youth will sing and dance their way from Munchkin Land to the beautiful city of OZ You are invited to enjoy such iconic numbers as “Ease on Down the Road”, “Brand New Day,” and of course the hauntingly beautiful “Home.” We certainly hope to see you at the Rotunda Theater at First Untied Methodist Church for either the 2pm or the 4:30pm showing.
